United Campus Workers of Virginia at UVA (UCWVA-UVA)

On November 2, 2020, UCWVA-UVA held a training workshop for union members on how to systematically organize workplaces and departments at public colleges and universities in the Commonwealth.

UCWVA-UVA used its mutual aid fund to distribute N95 masks and carbon filters to UVA frontline workers this Saturday, October 17th.

We believe that UVa Library should immediately close all Library buildings both to the public and to workers and staff. It must do this in order to ensure the safety of all workers and users.

On September 14, members of United Campus Workers of Virginia at UVA held its first organizing training for recruiting new members.
